STREETERVILLE
Discover Chicago’s Iconic Streeterville Neighborhood
Streeterville is a vibrant neighborhood on Chicago’s Near North Side, bordered by Lake Michigan to the east and north, the Chicago River to the south, and Michigan Avenue to the west. Known for its bustling atmosphere, Streeterville is home to an array of restaurants, high-rise office buildings, cultural landmarks, and shopping destinations. The neighborhood’s proximity to Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, and the Chicago Water Tower make it a prime location for both residents and visitors.
Streeterville is also rich in history, with several notable historic landmarks. The Water Tower District is home to the only public buildings that survived the 1871 Great Chicago Fire. The East Lake Shore Drive Historic District, featuring a row of early 20th-century luxury apartments, sits at the northern edge of the neighborhood and is considered some of the most coveted real estate in the city, if not the country.
