STREETERVILLE
Streeterville is located in the near north side of Chicago. It is bordered on the south by the river, Michigan Avenue on the west, and Lake Michigan on the north and the east. The neighborhood is full of restaurants, professional offices, famous skyscrapers, Navy Pier, shopping, and cultural venues. The neighborhood is also known for its historic landmarks. The Water Tower district contains the only public buildings that survived the 1871 Great Chicago Fire. The East Lake Shore Drive Historic District, which consists of a row of early 20th century luxury apartments, sits at the northern edge of the neighborhood and is some of the most prominent and expensive real estate in the country.
